Hi Mum, how are you

Though my thoughts are often with you

It’s been a long time since we talked

And what with the World Wide Web

All that new technology

Perhaps we can use it to our advantage.

I decided there must be a Heaven on line

And you must be Top_Angel by now

Helping to keep the eternal clock ticking

I bet you’ve shown them a thing or two,

”How to make light of a burden”

”How to keep an ego in check”

There were lots of other things you taught me

Some of them were big things

But the greatest ones, the most important

Enjoy the silence, think of others but believe in yourself

I could not have learned any other way

Than at your side and in your heart.

With new challenges ahead, hurdles to overcome

I will be testing again those lessons learned

Rising to the challenges, clearing the hurdles

Helping to bring success to those around me

And all the time I am working for the future

I will find small silences to enjoy, and remember you.
